Sci-fi film “Dune,” coming to theaters this Fall
Coming to you this October is the new movie “Dune” starring Timothee Chalamet as Paul Atreides and Zendaya as Chani.
This new Sci-fi film is directed by Oscar nominee Denis Villeneuve and written by Jon Spaihts, Denis Villeneuve and Eric Roth.
“Dune” is a sequel to the book novel “Dune” written by American author Frank Herbert in 1965. The story tells takes you through the life of Paul Atreides, whose family accepted the stewardship of the planet Arrakis.
“I am a massive fan of the “Dune” books. It’s a book that stayed with me over 35 years and it’s a book that I deeply know,” Villeneuve told io9 and a group of journalists last month. “So you go into the adaptation, you realize that the goal was to make a movie that will please the hardcore fans, the people that know “Dune” by heart, and also my mother that never read “Dune” … So to find that equilibrium was not easy.”
Paul Atreides, the star of this action-filled film, is a very gifted young man who just happened to be born into a great destiny that he’s growing to understand. He must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to help ensure the future of his family and his people. And only those who are able to conquer their fear will survive this extraordinary expedition.
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear, and I will permit it to pass over me. When the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain,” expressed Paul Atreides.
This film is one you will want to see and is coming to you in theaters and HBO Max Friday, Oct. 22.
