People all over the world celebrate Halloween each year. And trick or treating is something people most look forward to. Getting to dress up as whatever you want and go door to door gathering lots of candy is an excitement to many. 

In the early 1900s on Halloween children used to commit lots of mischiefs, so people began to give out homemade treats such as candied apples and popcorn balls to keep the children from vandalizing their property. And since then it’s become a Halloween tradition to give out treats. 

Path of Ex stated that their top 5 Halloween candies are Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Milky Way, Twix, Snickers and Kit Kat. It seems that most people go more for chocolate than sour or gummy candies. I asked around to see what other people’s favorite Halloween candy is. 

“Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are my favorite because they have the perfect mix of peanut butter and chocolate,” says Stacy Seitz. 

“I like Reese’s Cups because the chocolate and peanut butter are both good by themselves but when they’re put together it’s even better,” stated Kara Hazelton. 

“My favorite Halloween candy is Kit Kats because I like the crunch of them,” said Marilyn Peyton. 

As you can see, Reese’s Cups are a very common favorite around the Halloween holiday. 

My favorite Halloween candy is either Snickers or Twix. I like Snickers because the mix of peanuts, caramel and chocolate is delicious but I like the Twix because it has a good crunch and the caramel with the wafer is a great mix.
