The Central York boy’s volleyball team soared past Spring Grove April 12, 2023, to improve their record to 3-1. 

Junior outside hitter Christian Bucks won the team’s “Todd Goodling Man of the Game” Vitamin Water after he recorded 7 kills and 3 digs. Other notable attackers were senior Donovan Burris who tallied 10 kills and junior Trevor Ketrick who finished with 9. Junior libero Ryan Roberts led the team in digs with 17. He finished with a serve-receive passer rating of 2.59 after recording 10 three-passes and 7 two-passes.

“It felt really good to get a very necessary win. I felt like we did a good job dominating and not playing down to their level,” said Bucks.
