Man arrested for allegedly trying to bring explosives on a plane

Lehigh Valley International Airport camera shows Marc Muffley as an alleged suspect according to an FBI affidavit.

Federal Agents arrested a Pennsylvanian man Marc Muffley on Monday Feb. 27, 2023. He was arrested for allegedly carrying explosives in a suitcase at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, PA. His flight was Flight 201 destined for Orlando Sanford International Airport in Sandford, FL.

An alarm was set off pertaining to the explosives in Muffley’s bag. Over the airport intercom the airport’s Transportation Security Administration ask him to report to the security desk, but he didn’t show up

Security camera’s caught footage of Muffley fleeing the airport, court documents stated.

“The FBI arrested Marc Muffley, 40, without incident at his Lansford, PA residence late Monday night,” said an FBI spokesperson.
