Alabama’s small forward and projected NBA 2023 Draft lottery pick Brandon Miller has been receiving a lot of criticism in the past week after information continues to leak about a fatal shooting in January involving another Alabama basketball player.

It was recently announced that Brandon Miller was associated with the deadly incident that happened with teammate Darius Miles. However, Miller has been proven innocent of any charges as he only transported the gun to Miles who then gave it to Micheal Davis to kill 23-year-old Jamea Jonae Harris. Miles was cut from the team, both him and Davis were charged with capital murder. Miller, who is one of the most watched players in college basketball continues to play and lead his team to one of their best seasons in school history.

“[Miller was] just in the wrong spot at the wrong time,” said Alabama head coach Nate Oaks.
