20 teams will be competing in the 47th annual Koller Classic boys volleyball tournament Saturday, April 15, 2023. The tournament will include local teams such as Northeastern, Dallastown and Hempfield. Other schools such as North Allegheny, State College and Emmaus will be taking longer journeys in order to compete in this state-wide competition.

Pool play begins at 8:30 a.m and games will continue until all courts are finished, schools will be split up into four pools of five teams.  The first round of playoffs will be in a play-in format between the bottom two seeds in each pool. From there, higher seeds will face the lower seeds until there’s one team left from each pool. Teams will then compete to make it to the championship until one team is crowned champion.

“I’m excited because it’s an opportunity to play a lot of different teams from all over the state,” said sophomore John He.
